According to Inc, Time magazine revealed its 2025 Person of the Year on December 11, awarding the title to the “Architects of AI.” The honor goes to eight specific leaders: Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, AMD CEO Lisa Su, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, and AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li. The magazine stated 2025 was the year AI’s full potential became undeniable and that there’s “no turning back.” Editor Sam Jacobs said this group had the greatest impact by imagining and building AI.
